We build the equipment we wished we'd had.
A laboratory equipment manufacturer incubated at IIT Delhi,
founded by researchers who spent a decade building
electrochemical systems — and got tired of teaching labs
stuck decades behind the research itself.
OUR STORY
AVATT Technologies Private Limited was founded to close a gap we saw firsthand as researchers.
Most undergraduate lab equipment available in India was designed decades ago, offered little flexibility for students to actually experiment, and hadn’t kept pace with where engineering research was heading —
particularly in energy and electrochemical systems.
Our team brings more than ten years of combined hands-on experience
in electrochemical systems — flow batteries, fuel cells, and electrolyzers
— built through direct R&D work rather than equipment resale. That
research background shapes everything we build. Where possible, our
teaching setups are designed to be configurable rather than fixed, letting
students build their own composite walls, choose their own plate
combinations, or vary electrode areas.
Based in Bakkarwala, Delhi, we design, fabricate, and test every setup
in-house, and we work directly with faculty and research teams to build
customized experimental rigs when off-the-shelf equipment isn’t
enough

To make hands-on engineering education more rigorous and research-relevant — and to give India's research community access to high-quality, indigenous electrochemical test setups without depending on imported hardware.
